The Chef's Table has great date night decor, and it's a major plus that they are available on a Sunday night.
Every dish was a hit, they didn't miss once. They even went the extra mile of having the infused fruit water instead of regular tap! The chef is extremely nice and I'm definitely going back to try the ostrich.

The owner, Vince, is a great guy. You can tell that he cares about quality of service. He told me they have been open for about 18 months. When I ordered the coconut soup his first question was "How spicy do you want it? On a scale from 1 to 4."
I got cocky and told him to give me a three level. I knew I didn't want the Thai spicy work, but I dabble in a few spiced cuisines. I struggled my way through it. It was burning me up but it tasted too good to leave it alone.
I moved to Houston in January 2026 after spending four years in Florida. While the beaches were amazing in Florida, the food was just not hitting. I lost about 40 pounds in 2025 alone simply because I was eating out of necessity most days.
Since moving to Houston, I became determined to try all the spots. I mean ALL of the spots. I started documenting my experiences and people seemed to enjoy them. So I thought instead of having people DM me restaurants around the city and get my input on them, why not just start a dining club?
My dining club community, Braisen, is a space for people in Houston to come out and meet new people by sharing a meal. A safe space without the algorithms, gender wars, hustle culture, and AI sales pitches. Just good food and conversation. If you all choose to continue conversation with other diners afterwards even better.
